CIM Employment Partners with Locatrix to Place Three New Employees
CIM Employment partnered with Locatrix in 2018. Based in Brisbane, Locatrix develops safety systems and emergency management products and solutions to enable clients to achieve and maintain their safety standards when it comes to protecting people across multiple facilities and sites.

Initially, Locatrix contacted CIM Employment for help recruiting for a Draftsperson. CIM Employment Consultant, Emma Rose met with John, CEO of Locatrix, and explained CIM’s Employer Recruitment Suppoprt Program. Emma explained to John the Government Incentives that are available in relation to employing a Disability Management Service Participant. John was happy for Emma to send through any resumes that suited the position description.
John connected Emma with Amanda Eade, Locatrix Executive Manager. Emma applied the comprehensive CIM Employment pre-screening framework to examining the requirements of the role to ensure she presented Amanda with appropriately matched candidates. Emma forwarded relevant resumes to Amanda and after interviewing the candidates, a CIM Employment participant was employed full time for the drafting position.
For the first 26 weeks of the participant’s employment, Emma liaised with both Amanda and the participant to ensure the participant was managing their transition to work. The participant has successfully maintained their employment as a productive member of the Locatrix team.
During this time, Amanda requested that Emma assist with recruiting two more staff members for the Locatrix team. One position was for an Executive Assistant and another was for a Compliance Officer. The same process was followed and we are pleased to have placed two CIM Employment participants into these roles as well – both still enjoying their employment with Locatrix.
