CIM Employment Expands Service Areas

Over 100 workers have received support through the CIM Employment by Altius Work Assist program. The group has now expanded its service areas across four states to reach and support more workers to maintain their employment through its Work Assist Program.

CIM’s General Manager Employment, Drew Reese, says “The Work Assist Program is so valuable as its available to help such a wide range of employees. Since its inception we have helped mature age workers, individuals with chronic health conditions such as cardiovascular disease, arthritis and obesity as well as those with musculoskeletal and mental health conditions”.

“Having recently expanded our services across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia we are well positioned to help so many more workers experiencing such difficulties”.

CIM Employment now operates across eight Employment Services areas including Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast, Northern Sydney, Inner Sydney, Yarra-Melbourne and Geelong.

CIM Employment’s new Work Assist Program (formerly known as Jobs in Jeopardy Assistance) is free to eligible businesses with employees having difficulty fulfilling the essential requirements of their employment due to an injury, disability or chronic health condition.

Drew says, “We are also pleased to welcome Catherine Ryan on board as Victorian Manager for Government Services, managing CIM Employment’s program and the NDIS for Altius Group. This growth will enable CIM Employment to help so many more individuals and employers”.

The program matches specific employee needs with appropriate allied health services to improve their workplace tolerances, capabilities and productivity.

CIM Employment’s Work Assist Program services are tailored to the individuals and may include allied health support, employer support strategies and plans, counselling, pain management, training, job re-design and workplace modifications, hearing device support and the facilitation of referrals as necessary.
