This year the theme is #BreakingtheBias. Whether bias is deliberate or unconscious it needs to be broken for women to move ahead and find the equality they deserve at work and home. This will take conscious thought and deliberate action.
This year we wanted to do something different and have authentic discussions around women’s issues in the workplace. We brought together a diverse panel of six Altius Group team members of different genders, ages, and cultures to talk about the experiences of women in the workplace today and other key hot topics in female equality.
The panel are all proud working members of the Altius team, they brought with them open minds a sense of curiosity to our discussion on how we can hope to #BreaktheBias.
The creation of a D&I program in a company was highlighted as a key driving force in developing inclusive policies and mindsets. Altius Group is proud to be in the early stages of creating a D&I program.
With passionate people at its helm, we look forward to being ‘Upstanders and not bystanders’.
