Frank Imbesi, who is also a registered physiotherapist with a two-decade career, has been reappointed as the President of the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA) Victorian chapter, maintaining his influential role while spearheading AMS Consulting under the Altius Group brand. Frank’s reappointment is set to drive further innovation in the sector, amplifying his thought leadership as Managing Director at AMS Consulting.
Frank's leadership journey is truly admirable. He is currently serving his fourth term as President of ARPA Victoria, displaying his colleagues' trust and confidence in his leadership abilities. He is also in his second term as ARPA National Vice President and has been an ARPA National Executive Member for four years, bringing considerable knowledge and experience in achieving the best possible outcomes for stakeholders and the sustainability of ARPA member organisations.

He has been an invited expert member/adviser to numerous working groups, contributing to the development of key principles and practices in the field. He is also an active participant in the national expansion of ARPA's Professional Development initiatives.

Frank's passion for sharing knowledge and expertise with the community is evident through his participation in various conferences and seminars.
Over his career, he has delivered presentations at the Australasian Life Underwriting and Claims (ALUCA) Conference, focusing on the theme "Beyond Disability and Towards Career Independence" as well as at the Return to Work (RTW) Conference, shedding light on "Understanding Resilience to RTW and Preventing Relapse." His contributions have helped shape industry discussions.

Notably, Frank recently attended the first International Vocational Rehabilitation Roundtable in British Columbia, Canada, which facilitated worldwide collaboration and knowledge exchange. He also participated in the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada (VRA Canada) conference and College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals (CVRP) training day which enabled him to gain a broader perspective on international best practices in the field.
