In January 2022 Keely made the move from Newcastle to Katherine as part of her partner’s transfer in his ADF role.

Having a full-time available Rehab Consultant based in Katherine has been a huge and beneficial change for clients in this area. People needing rehab services have typically been treated out of Darwin, an almost 3 1/2 hr drive away. Having a consultant locally has made face-to-face contact and treatment so much easier and sustainable.

In these 7 months, Keely has been working with a hugely diverse range of clients, a testament to the variety of industries that thrive in the NT.

‘The clients in the region have allowed me to be exposed to more types of industries including councils, labourers, cattle stations, non-operational gold mines, and the police. I’ve assisted with clients returning to work from both physical and psychological injuries.’

Keely will be based in Katherine for the next few years, using her expertise to help Altius Group clients in the area. She also looks forward to exploring more of the NT and exploring its natural beauty.
