Following a thorough selection process, we are thrilled to announce James Thiedeman has been appointed as CEO of Altius Group. This marks another significant milestone in the Altius journey, that originated some 22 years ago. With his extensive experience and passion for helping others, James is poised to lead us into the next exciting chapter.
James brings a wealth of leadership experience and a visionary mindset that will drive Altius Group towards even greater success. With a career spanning 25 years in the healthcare sector, James has a deep understanding of its intricacies and complexities, and remains truly connected to the priority of colleague, client and customer care. His leadership style is commercially minded and inclusive, making him an exceptional fit for the organisation.
As the former CEO of healthcare operations Monash IVF and Vision Eye Institute, James has honed this ability to bring fresh ideas and creative solutions into practice. Amongst his many strengths are his ability to incorporate knowledge and innovation in a measured and impactful way. This expertise will undoubtedly play a crucial role as we strive to expand Altius Group's position as Australia's leading integrated workplace health and wellbeing provider.
A Joint Effort for Success
In conjunction with James’ appointment, Derick Borean will continue as our Founding Director, and remain focused on Altius Group's growth and success. As Derick's role evolves following an extensive handover, he will assume increased responsibilities on the Altius Group Board, focusing on strategy, growth, and governance. In addition, he will provide invaluable support to the Customer and Business Development team, helping to ensure the continued satisfaction and expansion of services to our valued clients and customers. Derick's representation of Altius Group within the industry will continue to showcase our commitment to excellence and the enormous value of integrated workplace health solutions to people, organisations and communities.
