Occupational Therapist | Senior Rehabilitation Consultant
Krista completed her Bachelor of Applied Science, Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney and has since worked passionately in the rehabilitation and return to work sector in rural NSW. Krista has extensive experience working within a variety of industries and sectors in management of occupational rehabilitation.
Bringing high levels of insight into the challenges of rural living and employment industries with a background in farming and agriculture, Krista enjoys educating and empowering employees and workplaces to take a proactive approach to ensuring rural clients are provided with the knowledge and opportunity to achieve their best possible physical and mental wellbeing. She has many years of experience in management of rehabilitation programs for injured workers, including extensive skills in workplace assessment and negotiating suitable duties programs, and liaising with key stakeholders of rehabilitation programs including employers, insurers, doctors and allied health practitioners.
Krista’s vast experience includes working in Workcover funded rehabilitation programs, Department of Veterans Affairs and delivering Manual Handling Training to organisations. She also conducts Daily Living Assessments, Functional Education, NDIS Functional Assessments and Ergonomic Assessments.
Krista’s ambition is to empower people, teams and organisations to reach their potential particularly in rural areas where resources are limited.
