Since completing a Master of Commerce majoring in Industrial/Organisational Psychology Grant initially worked as a registered psychologist in South Africa, then in internal Human Resources and Organisational Development roles. Grant has gained over 25 years corporate experience across General Management, Professional Services Consulting and Human Resources Management roles in a range of industries in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
He has a strong background in psychology and prides himself in his ability to help executives to identify and implement personal, practical and business orientated strategies to improve overall effectiveness and performance.
Grant’s areas of specialisation include assessment, leadership development and coaching. He has worked with many client organisations to improve business strategies, team effectiveness and engagement and to steer effective culture change and employee development. Grant has also published articles in psychology journals and presented at various business, human resources and psychology conferences locally and internationally.
Grant’s passion is in employee assessment and development. He is accredited in all the recommended assessment instruments and has led many assessment projects with clients internationally.
He has held Assessment and Leadership Practices roles for companies such as PreVisor, shl, Deloitte, and Aon Consulting. Grant has worked in full-time consulting roles in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia and delivered on projects to clients across Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Asia Pacific Region – working with such clients as CBA, NSW Fire, Whirlpool, Suncorp, Lendlease, Westpac, Deloitte, PwC, Coca-Cola Amatil, Office of Sport & Recreation, Child Protection and the ATO.
