Coronavirus Update

Update 23/03/2021

We have successfully continued to support and provide health care to our clients throughout this pandemic with zero incidents. Altius Group maintain infection control and prevention by:

Assessing the risk of COVID-19 before face-to-face meetings and offering telehealth sessions instead

  • Using QR Codes or physical check-in processes for contact tracing
  • Cleaning the office environment and equipment regularly
  • Practising good hand hygiene and supplying hand sanitiser
  • Using surgical masks if there is an assessed risk
  • Applying physical distancing of 1.5 metres where possible

Please advise us if you have symptoms and if any of the following apply to you, PRIOR to attending Altius Group offices:

  • you have returned from overseas in the past 14 days
  • you have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days
  • you have lived in or travelled through an area where there is a higher risk of community transmission, as defined by the local public health unit.

Update - 20/03/2020

You will be unable to attend in person where, in accordance with the advice of the Australian Government and Department of Health, the following applies:

  • If you have been overseas at any time in the last 14 days,
  • If you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days,
  • If you have symptoms including cough, fever, fatigue, shortness of breath or sore throat, DO NOT attend Altius Group offices.
  • If you are unwell, please consult your GP or medical professional for advice.

You may also be asked some questions prior to your face to face appointment commencing. We appreciate your patience as we take steps to protect the community and our team from unnecessary risk.

The great news is that we can continue to offer services to you during this time. Note that we are currently offering telehealth services through telephone and Microsoft Teams, to clients who are unable to attend appointments in person.

Update - 11/03/2020

In accordance with the advice of the Australian Government and Department of Health, we ask that clients who have been in, or transited through, mainland China, Iran, South Korea or Italy in the last 14 days, or who have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days, do not attend Altius Group offices. We also request that clients who have been in, or transited through Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore or Thailand AND experienced a fever or cough in the last 14 days, not attend Altius Group offices.

We are currently offering telehealth services through telephone and Microsoft Teams, to clients who are unable to attend appointments in person. Please contact us on 1800 258 487 to arrange your appointment.
